Space Exploration Tattoos

Tattoos are all about portraying the state of humanity using visuals. As we all know, 2016 was a happening year for space exploration and it will only get more exciting from here. Companies such as SpaceX (led by the brilliant engineer Elon Musk) are helping us get closer to the dream of ‘common people’ visiting space! As such, we’re starting to see a trend emerge around tattoos related to space exploration. Our prediction is that this trend is not going away anytime soon; it will only become more and more relevant! Here’s a cool tattoo that we recently came across:

What are your thoughts on this? Would you get it? I definitely would but I’d love to hear your thoughts on improving this further and perhaps adding a bit of a twist to make this colorful tattoo even better. If you’re interested in something for the upper arm, something like this may interest you more:

This one is a slight variation to the one before and is not as “in your face” as the other one. It really depends on your style and preferences. Share your thoughts in the comments below! If you want more space and want to be a bit discrete about your tattoo, another idea is to have it on your back. I’ve seen some great back tattoos revolving around the theme of space exploration, planets, and our solar system. Here’s a neat back tattoo that I found quite interesting:

As you can see, this is not a super extensive tattoo and is somewhat discrete if you want it to be. It still has a “cool feel” to it and I think it looks quite nice. I’ve noticed this is more of a “women tattoo” – no, not being sexist but just stating that in my experience I’ve seen more girls enjoy these kind of tattoos than men. That is not to say that a guy cannot pull this tattoo off – if you feel it, go for it!

As I said before, I’m really interested in hearing your thoughts and ideas – share away in the comments! Pictures/designs are encouraged!
